Hidden Object--Course Overview

I am most excited to learn the action script 3.0 for all of the new games that we will be making this year. It will be a challenge to change from 2.0 to 3.0 since I was beginning to get fairly comfortable with the 2.0 coding and could find errors for the students pretty quickly. Now I have to start all over again. So, it will be a challenge to learn new coding this semester. Hopefully it will be easier than learning it the first time. I am excited with all of the changes we are seeing with Globaloria this year. I am glad we are able to be a part of it.

Welcome Back Students and Hello World Blog Post!

Welcome back to school students, and Hello World! We are off to a slow but sure start to the new school year and things are going very slow on our internet. I don't know if it is a wiki issue or it it is our internet but we are having a terrible time accomplishing very much in our classes because of the slowness we are experiencing. Still, I am excited that each of my students are a part of the Globaloria community and we are going to have an exciting year even if we are having a little bit of a problem getting going. Things will improve in time. Be patient.

Creating Globaloria Accounts

Most students will have experience with creating online accounts since they use internet frequently, but some of them don't always use good judgment when it comes to the types of information that they choose to share or view. I can make sure that they know the safety guidelines to follow and that they know the importance of their online profiles as they create and maintain any accounts.
